The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested Benue wanted cultist and serial killer, Oodo Moro alias Papa shokey.    Spokesperson of the command, ASP Ramhan Nansel, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, May 30, said the suspect is the leader of Black Axe confraternity in Ogbadibo local government area of Benue state.   Nansel said the command received credible information which indicated that Papa shokey, has relocated to Karu local government area of Nasarawa State, where he was seen recruiting and initiating youths into his criminal cult group in preparation for a reprisal attack on a rival cult group in Benue state.   No fewer than 46 students of the University of Abuja have been expelled by the Senate for their involvement in various acts of misconduct. The federal university of agriculture makudi (FUAM) students today 26th May 2021, staged out a peaceful protest over delay in aprroval of final year results and NYSC mobilization after graduation.   Nhbnews was there to monitor the process noted that. The protest was led by 2017/2018 academic session as they matched down to North-core junction (e'tc center). Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, May 24 arrested six suspected internet fraudsters. A statement released by Wilson Uwujaren, spokesperson of the antigraft agency gave the names of the suspects as Tochukwu Okoro, Okechukwu Ejechie, Nwankwo Okeke, Edeh Emmanuel, Emeka Chukwunonso and Kenechukwu Ekunie. He said they were arrested at Bricks Estate, Independence Layout, Enugu based on credible intelligence on their alleged criminal activities. According to the statement, a Toyota Camry car with registration number YAB 418 AZ was recovered from Tochukwu Okoro while other incriminating materials including laptops and mobile phones were recovered from the other suspects. He said the suspects will be charged to Court as soon as the investigation is concluded

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a medical doctor, Mrs Arikeade Oni-Salawu, in Oyo state.   Arikeade, the wife of the youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo, Areokuta Salawu, was kidnapped at the entrance gate of her residence in Aromolaran area of Ibadan at about 10pm on Sunday, May 23.   It was gathered that the medical doctor, who was returning from clinic, had alighted from her workplace ambulance to open the gate when armed men suddenly emerged and kidnapped her right in front of her husband who drove behind her.   It was further learnt that the gunmen seized phones of the APC youth leader while they left behind the phone of their victim.   Confirming the incident to Nigerian Tribune, Areokuta Salawu’s associate, said;    “The APC youth leader called me at about 4.30 am to tell me that his wife was kidnapped at about 10pm yesterday.
