A 200l student Known as PIUS DOOSE from the department of AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS at the Federal university of agriculture makudi better knowing now as Joseph SARWUAN TARKAA UNIVERSITY MAKURDI  was spotted selling groundnuts at her Lecture venue.

When contacted she made known that she prefer involving in a petty business like this than looking up to boys on campus.


She urges her fellows to engage in small business in campus to enable them never to run-out of Cash.

FUAM students protest over delay in approval of final year results and NYSC mobilization.

The federal university of agriculture makudi (FUAM) students today 26th May 2021, staged out a peaceful protest over delay in aprroval of final year results and NYSC mobilization after graduation.   Nhbnews was there to monitor the process noted that. The protest was led by 2017/2018 academic session as they matched down to North-core junction (e'tc center). When contacted, one of the students who made it known that they are tired of sitting down at him doing nothing, after two year of graduation, he stated that without the final year results and the NYSC results they won't be able to employ by any company or organizations. #Approve our results and mobilize us now they stated!!

Bill to scrap NYSC at second reading in House of Reps

Following calls for the discontinuation of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Alteration Bill, 2020, which is seeking to repeal the NYSC Act, has been billed for the second reading in the House of Representatives. The sponsor, Mr Awaji-Inombek Abiante, in the explanatory memorandum of the proposal, rolled out the various reasons the NYSC should be scrapped. This bill seeks to repeal Section 315(5)(a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, (as amended) on the following grounds. Incessant killing of innocent corps members in some parts of the country due to banditry, religious extremism and ethnic violence; incessant kidnapping of innocent corps members across the country; “Public and private agencies/departments are no longer recruiting able and qualified Nigerian youths, thus relying heavily on the availability of corps members who are not being well remunerated and get discarded with impunity
